Return of Apple Music Live

The second season will begin with a performance by Ed Sheeran at the Eventim Apollo in London. During this intimate concert, the artist will present for the first time the entirety of his brand new album “–” alongside a group of 12 musicians, including Aaron Dessner of The National.

The Ed Sheeran concert will be broadcast on May 10 at 9 p.m. (French time) on Apple Music. It will also be possible to find the performance on Apple TV+. And for those who will not be available at this time, it will be possible to find the concert in replay from 10 p.m.

“I am delighted to share with you the show I gave on the album Subtract”, said Ed Sheeran. “I was very nervous on D-Day, because it was the first time that I interpreted the titles of the new album. The show was hosted by Aaron and the amazing band, and it was an honor to be with them. It was an evening full of emotions, but I am very happy that we were able to document it”.

“We’re thrilled to present this Apple Music Live program, which offers a truly unique perspective on how one of the world’s most popular musicians deals with some of the heaviest trauma imaginable. It is a journey full of emotions and introspection, but also extremely enriching”said Matt Wilkinson, host of Apple Music 1. Moreover, Apple Music will offer on May 9 an interview with Ed Sheeran conducted by Matt Wilkinson.

The first season of Apple Music Live began in May 2022 and featured Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, Alicia Keys, Wizkid, Luke Combs and more artists. Apple has yet to announce who will participate in the second season.
