Read on after the ad.

Apple Reality is coming

We still have to wait until the Apple Reality, Apple’s first VR glasses, is finally presented. The rumors about Apple’s first VR glasses have been going on for a very long time and the glasses were originally expected this spring. Last month it became clear that Apple has pushed back the deadline again. The VR glasses are only now being unveiled at Apple’s WWDC in June and are said to offer support for the visually impaired and the hearing impaired.

The fact that Apple has pushed back the deadline again does not detract from all the rumors that are now about VR glasses. A lot has already been leaked about the glasses, for example, the glasses will have two 4K screens with micro-LED technology, 15 cameras and an advanced processor. According to the latest rumor, Apple is working on a next-generation software for VR glasses that can better help the visually impaired.

VR glasses should help people with disabilities

The Apple Reality has quite a few cameras, with which the glasses should offer help to people with a visual or hearing impairment. Apple’s VR glasses can display the environment with these cameras in such a way that a visually impaired or hearing impaired person receives more information about the environment. For example, completely blind people receive information about their surroundings via audio.

Apple is also working on a feature for people with blind spots on their retinas. The Apple Reality recognizes these blind spots and moves the image to the parts of the retina that are not damaged. In this way, Apple is trying to help visually impaired people with the VR glasses. Hearing-impaired people receive more visual information about their surroundings.

It is expected that the first version of the Apple Reality does not yet have all accessibility features for the visually impaired and the hearing impaired. Accessibility has always been an important point of attention for Apple and the VR glasses are no different. Apple has reportedly even set up a special team that is investigating all accessibility options with the Apple Reality.
