Apple is working on a special version of iPadOS (this is different)
Apple is rumored to be working on a special version of iPadOS for the iPad. But what will actually change?
Read on after the ad.
Special version of iPadOS is coming
According to the Twitter account analyst941, a special version of iPadOS is coming. The new software then gets a number of cool features and supports more types of iPads. One of these iPads is a 14.1-inch model with an M3 Pro chip.
A word of warning: you should take this news with a grain of salt. The account of this rumor has previously predicted that the iPhone 14 Pro would get a Dynamic Island, but many other rumors have not been revealed.
According to rumors, the iPad with this special version of iPadOS can control two 6K screens (60 Hz) via Thunderbolt 4. According to the Twitter user, Apple allows the screens to be connected by means of a ‘daisy chain’. The external screen is connected to the iPad, and the second screen is connected to the first image (a kind of serial connection).
A 14.1-inch iPad will then be the largest iPad ever. So far, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro was the largest model. This special version of the iPad will probably get a different name, for example ‘iPad Ultra’ or ‘iPad Studio’ and the new version of iPadOS.
Still, several Apple connoisseurs are not yet sure whether the extra large iPad will come. Display analyst Ross Young has already said in December 2022 that Apple no longer plans to come up with a larger iPad. That while he has previously said that Apple will release a 14.1-inch iPad in 2023.

It is not yet clear what time WWDC 2023 will start. If we look at the past, the start will probably be at 7 p.m. Bee iPhoned we will of course be reporting on the WWDC keynote. So make sure you’re ready on June 5th!
