Apple is raising prices in its App Store
Apple wants to increase the prices for apps and in-app purchases in its App Store. From October 5, 2022, users in all euro countries will have to pay significantly more. Only automatically renewable subscriptions are exempt from the price increase.

Apple is raising prices in its App Store
According to the US company, only automatically renewable subscriptions are excluded from the price increase. The new price structure is due both to new regulations and to the weak euro compared to the US dollar.
In Vietnam, for example, Apple will have to collect and pay taxes in accordance with new laws. According to the company, this includes both value added tax (VAT) and corporate income tax (CIT), each of which has a rate of 5 percent.
As early as October 5, 2022, prices for apps and in-app purchases (excluding auto-renewable subscriptions) on the App Store in Chile, Egypt, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, South Korea, Sweden, Vietnam and all territories, using the euro increased.
App providers can maintain pricing for existing subscribers
Once the changes take effect, Apple plans to update the Pricing and Availability section of the My Apps section of its App Store. The US group also points out that app providers can adjust the prices for their apps and in-app purchases at any time.

- Price level 1: 0.99 to 1.19 euros
- Price level 2: 1.99 to 2.49 euros
- Price level 3: 2.99 to 3.49 euros
- Price level 4: 3.99 to 4.99 euros
- Price level 5: 4.99 to 5.99 euros
- Price level 6: 5.99 to 6.99 euros
- Price level 7: 6.99 to 7.99 euros
- Price level 8: 7.99 to 9.99 euros
- Price level 9: 8.99 to 10.99 euros
- Price level 10: 9.99 to 11.99 euros
