Apple is preparing an iMac exceeding 30 inches (and other products)
Apple is preparing several new Macs and one of them is an iMac with a screen larger than 30 inches, according to information from Mark Gurman of Bloomberg.
For years, Apple offered two sizes for its all-in-one computer, namely 21.5 inches and 27 inches. Since the existence of the iMac with the M1 chip, there is only one format, that of 24 inches. Apple is now preparing two new models (codenamed J433 and J434) still with a 24-inch panel, and another model over 30 inches. Unfortunately, there is no precise information on the exact size.
We will have to wait before discovering this great iMac, since the work would only be in its infancy. Here are the other models in preparation:
- 13-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 chip (codenamed J504)
- 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Pro and M3 Max chips (codenames J514 and J516)
- MacBook Air (codenames J613 and J615)
There’s also talk of new iPads, with new iPad Pros featuring OLED displays (codenames J717 and J720) and a new iPad Air (codename J507) to replace the existing model that features the M1 chip.
Apple is talking about other products in development, including the AirPods Pro 3, home equipment (like connected screens) and a new Apple TV. But the release is not for now.
