Apple has released an Android application to protect against AirTags

It is not often that a competing Apple releases an Android application. So far, there have actually been only five of them in the official Play Store. Now, however, the sixth has been added and its mission is really very interesting. It protects Android users from the Apple product. And we are not exaggerating. A novelty called Tracker Detect has a task warn unsuspecting owners Android mobiles before tracking through AirTag pendant or other devices supporting the “Find My” ecosystem.

Why should AirTag people worry? Since the launch of this geolocation tag, the number of cases where it is unethically used to track people or vehicles without the person’s knowledge. IPhone owners can find out about the presence of a foreign tag very easily, but for Android users there has been no way to find out about the tag in the backpack or in the vehicle.
