March 2022 Apple event official
We’ve been waiting for it for a while, but now it’s really official. Apple’s first Keynote in 2022 is coming. There have been several rumors going around for months and the last few weeks they have only increased.
The Cupertino company has sent out the invitations for a digital event today. on Tuesday, March 8 at 7:00 PM Dutch time Apple announces all kinds of new products. There we quickly get to see the first new Apple products of the year.
What will you see at the first Apple event of 2022?
What Apple shows exactly, the company prefers to keep a secret. But after various rumors, we already have a good idea of which products will be shown. It’s not quite official yet, but you’ll likely see these new products at the first Apple event of 2022 on March 8.
1. iPhone SE 2022
According to the rumors, Apple will in any case launch the iPhone SE 2022. The new budget model will look a lot like its predecessor, but will receive a faster A15 chip with 5G. Whether the iPhone SE 2020 will remain available cheaper?
2. iPad Air 2022
In addition, Apple is also likely to unveil the iPad Air 2022. The tablet will probably get an A15 chip and Center Stage (which you also know from the iPad mini 2021). This function is called Middelpunt in Dutch and follows your movements, so that you are always well in the picture. This makes the new iPad Air actually oversized iPad mini 2021.
3. Upgrade for MacBook Pro and Mac mini
Finally (according to well-known Mark Gurman) the 13-inch MacBook Pro from 2020 and the Mac mini from 2020 will receive an upgrade. Both have an M1 processor and there is a good chance that they will now get a successor.

Furthermore, it remains of course coffee grounds, but Apple would not be Apple if they come up with something else. There have been rumors for a while about the AirPods Pro 2, the Apple Watch Series 8 or a new Apple Watch SE. There is a good chance that they will come during an Apple event later in the year, but you never know … In addition, it is still likely that Apple will announce the iPhone 13 in a new color (or colors?). Often times during these kinds of events, Apple also announces the date of an upcoming iOS release. That is why iOS 15.4 will probably also be announced after the event (usually 24 hours).
