Apple App Store to increase prices in October
The falling euro and high inflation are increasingly taking their toll. Apple is also forced to raise the Apple App Store prices in Europe, among others.
Apple: big brand loyalty
Apple equipment owners are usually very loyal to their brand. So Apple can get away with things that other manufacturers wouldn’t dare think about. In fact, they often follow Apple’s lead in controversial actions such as not selling a charger with a phone, removing the earjack and selling a power bank that can only half-charge the phone.
This is largely because Apple produces everything in-house, so as an Apple user it is difficult to escape Apple products. Unlike Android, you are stuck with Apple standards.
Apple price increase due to inflation and euro fall
Now the Californians are striking with a price hike. This is largely due to the low exchange rate of the euro against the US dollar. The cost of apps in the Apple App Store is also increasing. Where the base price used to be €0.99, it now increases to €1.19. Observers believe that this has all to do with the low euro exchange rate. Other countries, such as Sweden, South Korea, Chile, Egypt, Malaysia, Pakistan, Vietnam and Japan are also affected by the price increase.
From October 5, the App Store prices will go up
