Another Google Apka has half a billion installations. Maybe you have it and you don’t even know it
Keyboard Gboard, Calendar, Android Car, Documents, Translator, YouTube Music… and now Google One. These are mobile applications developed by the American technology giant, which are lit in the “installation” column in the Play Store. more than half a billion. If you now say that you don’t have anything like that on your mobile and you certainly didn’t contribute to this high number, you’d better check it out. Google One is in a lot of devices installed immediately after production and sometimes you can’t even throw it out, just deactivate.
If you don’t even know this concept, then know that it is a Google tool whose main mission is to manage paid cloud space for Photos, Disk, Gmail and other Google services. For example, it now offers a VPN connection, but its role is minor. It can be assumed that a large number of users have no idea that they have Google One on their phone. And maybe even if they were interested in expanding the space for photos or e-mail attachments, they downloaded it, but then left it unnoticed.
The application usually does not show or echo (if you do not run out of space) and there is no reason to go to it regularly, so it is quite likely that even most of that half a billion users has no idea that it indirectly contributed to the current milestone.
