Android Auto co-abolishes one annoying restriction

Google promised it sometime at the end of September, but since then there has been silence on the footpath and we haven’t seen it in practice for almost two months. What are we talking about? About the highly sought after feature that Android Auto enables in the popular travel environment SIM card selection when initiating a call for phones that have two different numbers. Indeed, the restrictions promised by the US giant a few weeks ago are gradually disappearing.

One of the Reddit users took care of the discovery and the first visual recording of this introduced news. As can be seen in the picture, the mobile phone is asked to start a call anew asks from which number to start the call. So far, the system has ignored more SIMs and called straight from the primary one.

The novelty should probably be part of a new version of the application Android Auto 7.1.614554. But we haven’t verified it yet. If you want to try the functionality and you don’t see this version in the Play Store yet, you can download it from APK Mirror, for example.

What other restrictions do you mind about Android Auto?
