Android 12 is now available for OnePlus 7/7 Pro and 7T/7T Pro

After a beta phase started in July, OnePlus is now making the stable version of Android 12 available for its OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro. The update comes with the manufacturer’s OxygenOS 12 overlay.

The stable version build number is H.28 (for OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro) and F.16 (for OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro). In addition to everything that is brought by Android 12, OxygenOS 12 offers a major visual overhaul for the manufacturer’s smartphones. However, the level of Android security updates is not recent, as OnePlus only offers security patches for August 2022, while those for September and October are already available to plug several flaws.

As always with OnePlus, this is a gradual rollout. The stable update to Android 12 is currently in the hands of those who participated in the beta. It will arrive gradually for all users. This will be a reality within the next few days or weeks depending on the country. So all you have to do is wait. Or if you know what you’re doing, you can manually grab the update and install it.
