Good news for the users of the Samsung Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21+ and the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The update to Android 12 with One UI 4 is ready in the Netherlands and Belgium! The update has already started to be distributed in other countries.

Android 12 is here!

Last week it was announced that Samsung has started rolling out the update to Android 12 for the Galaxy S21 series. Unfortunately, the update was not immediately available in the Netherlands and Belgium at the time. But now we can share the good news with you, that the update machine is being thrown at this too. This means that Android 12, along with the new One UI 4 skin, will be available for the Samsung Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21+ and the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Mark informs us that he has now received the update. It is a major update of almost 2.7GB, which also includes the latest version of the One UI skin. This gives you the option to use the ‘Color Palette’ function to match the interface colors to the colors of the set background. There are also improvements in privacy settings and you can manually edit the metadata for photos in the gallery app. Users will also find several other new features in their Galaxy S21 after the update, including the revamped weather app and widget.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra can now expect the update in Belgium and the Netherlands on their smartphone. You can wait for the notification, or manually check under settings > software update whether the update is already available for you. With this update, Samsung is the first manufacturer to provide a non-Pixel smartphone with Android 12.
