How does the Ooono Co-Driver No 1 work?
The Ooono Co-Driver No 1 fetches the data from the smartphone, which in turn is connected to the blitzer.de database. You have to set up the app when you start it and establish a Bluetooth connection between the cell phone and the gadget. Then you attach the co-driver to a place in the car where you can easily reach it – there is an adhesive strip on the Oonoo for this purpose. As soon as you drive, you will be warned shortly before you reach a danger point with the help of optical and acoustic signals. You can use the app to set whether the sounds come from the device and/or the cell phone and set the volume for both separately. If you want to report something yourself, you can do so at the push of a button. A single press reports a speed camera, a double press an accident or a dangerous spot. Very easily.
By the way, the Oonoo does not need any external power. The device contains a replaceable button cell that lasts for many months. This works because the device puts itself on standby when the car is stationary and only wakes up again when it detects movement.
