Amazon Prime Day 2022 on October 11 & 12: Good offers already
Amazon has announced a second Prime Day in a year for the first time. With the second appointment on October 11th and 12th everyone who did not find the first Prime Day sufficient will therefore be given a second chance. Should the Prime Day offers replace Black Friday?
Of course, many of you think of Black Friday or Cyber Monday when you think of Amazon offers in the fall. However, Prime Day is not intended to replace Black Friday or Cyber Monday this fall, but rather to give you another exclusive opportunity to snag good bargains. Since the Prime Day on October 11th and 12th takes place, there will also be no overlapping of the discount campaigns, since those shopping events this year for the November 25th and 28th are scheduled.

How do I best prepare for Prime Day 2022?
In order to be optimally prepared for the discount battle and to exploit the maximum savings potential, you should do the following things:
- Non-Prime members should use the free month (register here) shortly before the event starts.
- Create a wish list with the products you want to buy in advance and install the Amazon app. You will then be notified as soon as your desired product is cheaper on Prime Day.
- Amazon offers that will start soon can be observed. You will also receive a push notification as soon as it starts.
- Power shoppers can also install the Amazon Assistant. This is an extension for your browser that helps you find offers.
- Important tip: Comparing prices is worthwhile, but it is also exhausting. You can also save yourself the trouble by checking the GIGA Deals regularly. We only report on (Amazon) bargains that are unbeatably cheap.
- If you want to compare prices yourself: First put the product in the shopping cart, then take a look at idealo, Geizhals and Co. Otherwise, the item will be sold out before you know if it was even a bargain.
