All-clear for prices for Germany
Samsung will officially unveil the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra to the public in February. The prices for the new high-end smartphones caused a lot of unrest in advance. Now a source has published the supposedly final prices for Germany, initially providing relief. But it also confirms an unpleasant assumption.
Samsung Galaxy S22: prices remain unchanged
Samsung has already officially announced that the new Galaxy S22 smartphones will be presented in February. It was also revealed that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be transformed into a note smartphone. Now they are alleged final prices for Germany in euros and they bring relief. Accordingly, there will be no price increase – at least not directly:
Samsung will therefore offer the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus at the same price as the Galaxy S21 models. So it starts at 849 euros and doubling the memory costs 50 euros. It still sticks with the 8 GB RAM. You can not choose more here.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, on the other hand, has more changes. It comes with the S Pen, which slides into the case. The smallest configuration therefore still costs 1,249 euros, but you only get 8 GB of RAM. The predecessor still had 12 GB of RAM. And the more expensive versions are probably equipped more sparingly. Here there are only 12 GB RAM instead of the previous 16 GB RAM. It is quite possible that the chip crisis will now be felt.

Samsung Galaxy S22: Presentation is imminent
So Samsung has already announced the merger of the Galaxy S with the Galaxy Note series and with the Exynos 2200 also the new high-end processor for it. All that’s missing is a date when the smartphones will be unveiled. There is speculation about February 9, 2022. Then not only the Galaxy S22 smartphones will be on display, but also the new Galaxy Tab S8 tablets. So there’s a lot to come.
