Aldi is selling a mobile power generator at a bargain price tomorrow
If you want to make yourself a little more independent of the power grid and prepare for emergencies, you can buy a power generator from Aldi tomorrow that runs on petrol. This means you can still generate energy when nothing else works. But you have to pay attention to a few things.
Aldi sells generators for 249 euros
A blackout in Germany is relatively unlikely, but many people still want to prepare well for the worst case. That is why there is not only great interest in solar generators, but also in electricity generators that run on petrol. They can still generate energy even when nothing else works. Aldi sold from November 7, 2022, a power generator from Walter with 1,000 watts for only 249 euros. The generator is listed in the prospectus. It is sold via the online shop (look at Aldi). But it will only be entered there in the coming days.
Aldi had already sold a power generator with inverter technology some time ago. But the model sold out very quickly. So if you are interested in a power generator, you should make a note of the date. In contrast to the old model, the Walter power generator runs a little longer because you have a slightly larger 4-litre tank. With a load of 2/3, a runtime of up to almost 6 hours should be possible. You have to do without USB ports for this. This model has a Schuko plug and you can use it to get electricity.
A slightly weaker model from Einhell costs a little less (see Amazon).
The alternative to the petrol generator is a solar generator:
Why is a generator useful?
As the name suggests, you can use it to generate electricity. The maximum power is 1,000 watts, so you cannot connect any devices or machines that are too powerful. But many things in normal life are possible, which you can supply with energy in an emergency. At least that’s the case if you have enough petrol and oil available. The disadvantages of a power generator are the volume and the exhaust gases. You cannot use such a device in the apartment or in the house. Of course, that would work with an extension cable from the garden. You have to be a little resourceful here. Having power for emergencies is certainly a good thing.
