AirPods Pro 2023 will be released this year with new features
Are you planning to buy new AirPods? Then you better wait a little longer, because Apple is reportedly working on a new generation of AirPods Pro. It was already clear that the AirPods Pro will get quite a few new features in iOS 17, but according to new rumors we can even expect a completely new generation of earphones.

We don’t have to wait long for the new generation of AirPods Pro, because the earphones will appear this fall. According to the usually reliable Apple analyst Mark Gurman, Apple plans to launch the third generation AirPods Pro together with the iPhone 15. AirPods Pro 3: This is changing
A new European Union law forces Apple to switch from the Lightning cable to the USB-C connection. These new regulations apply to all new electronic devices from November 2024. We will probably already see the consequences of this legislation this year with the AirPods Pro: the case will have a USB-C connection for the first time.
In addition, the new AirPods Pro 2023 will have a handy hearing function in iOS 17. With this function, the earphones play different tones, which you then have to respond to via your iPhone (or iPad). Based on your reactions, the AirPods can then determine how good your hearing is. For example, Apple tries to detect hearing damage at an early stage.
New generation of AirPods will appear soon
According to rumors, the new generation of AirPods will appear at the same time as the iPhone 15. That means that we don’t have to wait long for the earphones, because Apple usually presents the new series of iPhones in September. It is not yet clear whether it is actually a new generation of AirPods, or whether Apple is updating the current generation of AirPods Pro.
