‘AirPods 3 get a new design, coming later this year’
Bloomberg-journalist Mark Gurman writes that the AirPods 3 will get a new design. The earbuds would look more like Apple’s more expensive Pro earbuds. This means that the stems will be shorter and the charging box would also get a makeover.
Gurman is one of Apple’s best-known journalists and generally knowledgeable. He claims that the company will release the wireless earphones later this year. He leaves a specific date in the middle.
The Bloomberg journalist also has news about the next-generation AirPods Pro. Apple’s most expensive earbuds were supposed to be released this year, but due to production problems they have been pushed back to next year, Gurman said.
Rumour: Fitness Tracker for AirPods Pro 2
The AirPods Pro 2 would get special fitness trackers. These sensors register your movements and therefore know exactly how you move and at what speed. Gurman claims that the fitness trackers will be used for all kinds of health purposes, but at the moment has no concrete examples.
He does report that the AirPods Pro will also be given a new look. Again, it is not entirely clear where the design will be adjusted. At least they won’t look like the Beats Studio Buds that leaked earlier this month, according to Gurman.
