A special edition does not include a game
Diablo 4’s release date is fast approaching. Now Publisher Blizzard has presented the many different special editions of the RPG. You have to be careful though: not all versions include the game.

The collector’s box for Diablo 4 is missing the most important thing
After years of waiting diablo 4 an official release date now. On June 6, 2023 you can plunge into the dark fantasy world again and loot a lot. But before that you have to decide which version of the action role-playing game you buy.
Blizzard does not shy away from presenting several versions of Diablo 4 at the same time. However, you have to be careful here. The fancy looking one Collector’s box for $97 Something important is missing: the game itself. So the box is primarily for collectors who really need to own everything that has to do with Diablo 4. Starting December 15, you can purchase the box from the Blizzard Gear Store. However, only a limited number is available (source: blizzard).
The Diablo 4 Collector’s Box contains the following items:
- Candle of Creation
- Cloth Map of Sanctuary
- Art Book: Diablo 4 – Collector’s Edition
- Occult Mouse Pad
- Horadrin collectible pin
- 2 Matt Art Prints – 47cm x 27.4cm

Diablo 4: What’s in the different editions
After all, Blizzard makes it abundantly clear that the Diablo 4 collector’s box comes without the actual game. However, if you are in a collecting mood and still want to gamble, then it will be expensive. After all, it costs standard version from Diablo 4 already 69.99 euros. The PS5 version is even more expensive at €79.99 (check it out on Amazon).
In the Blizzard Store you can see the differences between the Standard Edition (EUR 69.99), Digital Deluxe Edition (EUR 89.99) and Ultimate Edition (EUR 99.99). After all, all three versions are guaranteed to contain the game. In addition, pre-orderers will receive one Early access to the open beta (Source: blizzard). Then you just have to hope that Blizzard doesn’t make a mistake and they send out expensive Collector’s Editions without the game. The same thing happened to PlayStation players recently, whose €200 edition of God of War Ragnarök arrived without a download code.
