A play friend once a week is more than enough: this is what you think
Play buddy on the floor
- Nicky: “It is allowed every day, but with BSO, swimming lessons and an afternoon at grandma’s, there are only two afternoons left. Sometimes they are filled, sometimes no one comes, all fine.”
- Irene: “They can play with us all week long… No problem and it’s great fun!!! Except for Sunday… It’s for us together as a family.”
- Tamara: “We never put a limit on this… I always tried to divide a bit fairly here or with someone else, but if things went differently it was fine too, and if two (or three) wanted to play at the same time it was good too. I always found it very pleasant.”
- Callista: “I have twins and they are each allowed to bring a play friend once a week. The rest of the week we are busy with sports and music lessons, so no time to make playdates during the week. They do play a lot outside with the children from the neighborhood who also go to school with them.”

One (sports) club for a child is more than enough: this is what you think >
- Sophia: “We have 1, 2, 3 or 4 friends here almost every day. Welcome. Have fun playing. It’s just fun and good for the development of the child.”
- Annelies: “What nonsense! Playing with friends as often as they want… It’s great fun and if they don’t feel like it, they’ll let you know.”
- Jessica: “I didn’t put a limit on it. If they feel like playing and can do it that afternoon then why not? Usually they play with kids from school once or twice a week, or sometimes suddenly every day and then weeks off. I just let them in. When they are tired, they don’t even meet up, because they want to hang out on the couch.”
- Marjolein: “Very little happened here. They need/had a need for ‘rest’ after a day of school.”
