Booking platform Airbnb has released a new version of the Airbnb app. After the latest update, you will be introduced to improved filters and capabilities, which should give Airbnb travel a new dimension. We also see a renewed design in the app.

Airbnb with Summer 2022 update

The Airbnb app has been given a new look. The application claims to receive the Summer 2022 update with a series of improvements. The platform talks about the biggest changes in 10 years. There is now AirCover as a new service for all guests. This protects travelers while traveling, for example for cancellations from the landlord or when the stay is not as expected at the accommodation. This is not a substitute for your travel insurance.

Split Stays is also new. This will give you more options for a longer stay that you have planned, for example splitting your trip into two houses. According to Airbnb, this has the advantage that you get 40 percent more offers for a longer stay. You can also choose from 14 categories so that you can search more specifically. When you choose Split Stays, you’ll see an animated line showing where the two houses are and what the order is.

The biggest improvement for the Airbnb app can be seen in the Airbnb categories. How we travel has been the same for 25 years, the company says. You choose a location and enter the date. To give you more inspiration for your next vacation, you can now choose from 56 new special categories. This allows you to filter by style, location or travel activity, for example. Think of the categories; design, nature reserve, campsites, tree houses, tiny houses or a beautiful view. The possibilities are endless.

The update for the Airbnb app will be distributed to everyone from now on.
