A cheat has appeared, which will help with aiming on the -apkrig consoles as well

The Anti-Cheat Police Department, which has been informing about news in the field of cheats for several years and is trying to spread awareness through social networks so that developers can actively intervene against fraudsters, informs about a new system of automatic targeting on consoles. Although not the first mapped case of cheating outside of the PC gaming segment, ACPD warns against the growing popularity of this particular solution and warns that consoles are no longer a place where players can enjoy multiplayer on fair terms for everyone involved.

What is it about? cool new solution? For understandable reasons, the ACPD does not go too deep, but suggests that the aiming and, in fact, the shooting itself is taken care of by an algorithm connected to artificial intelligence. It is essential to send a video signal from the console via a computer, such as a recording card and related software, from which the cheat software running on the PC can then read the necessary data and send it to the driver. It is therefore also important to connect the gamepad to the console and the PC at the same time, which provides a hardware converter, which is also necessary for the solution to work. However, after a successful connection, according to the ACPD, there is nothing to stop artificial intelligence-driven automatic aiming, including automatic firing. “In fact, you don’t have to do anything at all, all you have to do is aim at the marked field and the system will do all the work for you,” add representatives of the anti-piracy organization.

If the whole system seems completely stupid to you and you are wondering how fun then such “playing” must be, then congratulations. You probably belong to a group of players who are willing to overcome that they are not the best at something and even they risk losing the match. But there are still a lot of others and they can reliably spoil the experience for everyone on the server. The defense is, of course, anti-cheating tools for developers or server operators, but in this regard, the ACPD warns that the described cheating will not be easy to track down. There are also opinions that existing cheats – including Cronus and Strike Pack software in particular – cannot be detected at all, and developers of competitive console games face a really big challenge.
