These iPhones have iOS 16 support
Apple has officially announced iOS 16. The major iPhone update will be released later this year and the public test version will be released next month. Unfortunately, not everyone will be able to enjoy it.
As with every new version, iOS 16 also drops some iPhones. That means these Apple phones are stuck on the previous version, iOS 15, or the last supported version.
Do you have an iPhone 6S (Plus), iPhone 7 (Plus) or an iPhone SE (from 2016)? Then you can’t update to iOS 16 this fall. Your phone has no support and is therefore stuck on iOS 15.

iPadOS 16 support
Do you have an iPad at home? Even then, there may be something to look forward to. The following iPads have support for iPadOS 16, the new iPad software version:
This is new in iOS 16
iOS 16 will include a new lock screen. This lockscreen is fully customizable. As a result, you can, for example, adjust the colors of the clock, or set the fonts to your own liking. iOS 16 also brings all kinds of features to the Messages app. You can, among other things, adjust messages that have already been sent and even withdraw them completely.
iPadOS 16 mainly focuses on collaboration. For example, the Free Form app ensures that you can complete a digital whiteboard with classmates or colleagues. iPadOS 16 also gets a feature from the Mac: Stage Manager. This allows you to focus on one app while the rest disappear from view. Furthermore, with iPadOS 16 you can make app windows bigger and smaller.
