Samsung Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy A51 and A52 get May update

A new update is ready for various Samsung devices. The Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy A52 and A51 will all be updated with the new May update. We summarize the details.

Galaxy S10 Series with May Update

The three smartphones from the Galaxy S10 series will be updated with the new security update from May 2022. This update will be available for the Samsung Galaxy S10, the Galaxy S10+ and the Galaxy S10e. Along with these improvements, we see a few more updates for certain Samsung apps in the changelog.

Galaxy A51 and A52

Thanks to Jesse, we know that the Samsung Galaxy A51 has also received the May security update. The changelog is similar to that of the Galaxy S10 series, where we also see that several Samsung apps have been updated. A similar update is available for the Galaxy A52.

On top of Google’s patches, Samsung has also added its own May patches. This addresses vulnerabilities in Samsung-specific stuff. For the Galaxy A51, the update has a size of approximately 373MB and will now be rolled out in the Netherlands for the aforementioned devices.
