iPhone suddenly suffers from a surprising bug
Apple has confirmed that the iPhone has a bug. Read here which bug and what it does to your iPhone.
A new bug has been discovered for the iPhone 13 series. As for millions of previous iPhones, and this bug has now been confirmed by Apple. Fortunately, it’s not exactly malicious and it won’t stop your iPhone from working.
iPhone bug
The newly discovered bug may affect many users as it affects iPhones running iOS 15, and possibly earlier. The bug is related to Apple Music. Kevin Archer, an iOS developer, noticed the strange behavior. It’s about what happens when you download Apple Music from the App Store.
Then you expect the app to put itself somewhere on your iPhone. But this is not the case. If you have a third-party app in fourth place in your home screen dock, that’s where Apple Music goes. So if, like Archer, you had Spotify in position four in the dock, when you download Apple Music, Spotify will launch and move to the home screen while installing Apple’s rival app in its place in the dock.
no disaster
It won’t keep you awake at night. So the app is not in the right place on your iPhone. Still, it can be kind of annoying. Let’s be clear, this is a bug, not a feature, and Apple has confirmed to 9to5Mac and several other publications that they are looking into it. Plus, it’s emphatically not specifically aimed at Spotify: other apps get kicked out if they’re in that fourth position in the dock, which is the default position for Apple Music on the iPhone.
