Best Streaming Series of 2021 continues in June
When it comes to streaming and series, the industry leader Netflix is usually the focus of reporting. Not so with the “best series of 2021”, which runs on the underdog Apple TV + and starts its third year in June – “For All Mankind” returns for the third season.
Best series of 2021: Season 3 from June on Apple TV+, not on Netflix
Admittedly, competitor Netflix has more series and films on offer, but Apple wants to shine with quality. Seems to be working, because Rolling Stone recently titled “Best Series of 2021” about “For All Mankind”. A compliment that Apple gladly accepts and immediately includes in the teaser trailer for the third season of the popular series (source: Apple).
Makes you want more, the new teaser for the third season of “For All Mankind”:
She celebrates on Friday 10 June 2022 on Apple TV+ Premiere, initially with the first episode, 9 more will then follow weekly, also on Friday. What was it about again? The series sheds light on the space race from the perspective of an alternative history: what would have happened if not the Americans, but the Soviet Union had put the first man on the moon? This is the starting point of the series, from which things develop a little differently than we see in the history books.
What’s next for “For All Mankind”?
Quite entertaining and very suspenseful, For All Mankind time warps again in its third season. We leave the 80s and find ourselves in the 90s of the last century. The moon is behind us, in front of us the red planet:
“The exciting new season of the alternate reality series transports viewers into a new decade, into the early 1990s, with a fast-paced race to a new planetary frontier: Mars. The Red Planet becomes the new frontier in the space race, not only for the US and Soviet Union, but also for an unexpected new entrant with much to prove and even more at stake. Our characters face off as their ambitions for Mars conflict and their loyalty is tested, building an arc of suspense that leads to a climax.”
According to the words, the teaser trailer probably announces cooperation between the USA and the Soviet Union. But there’s a third, unknown player. We’re betting on China, but maybe there’s a bigger surprise waiting for us here. Be that as it may, things will continue in June. Good to know: You can also test Apple TV+ for free, at least for a week. Under certain conditions, even several months, as we have already explained in an article.
