Xiaomi 12 is coming to the Netherlands and will cost as much as an iPhone!
Xiaomi is not always the cheapest. With the Xiaomi 12 series, the brand is at the level of the Apple iPhone.
The phone series was introduced and sold in China at the end of 2021. Today comes the announcement that Xiaomi is also bringing the 12 to the Benelux. The series consists of three devices and will be launched on the market. These are the 12X, 12 and 12 Pro. The latter is of course the most expensive of this trio.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro will have a Dutch price of 1,099 euros. That’s pretty hefty. The phone has impressive specifications, but the American Apple simply has a higher reputation than a brand like Xiaomi. I therefore had to meet the first Dutchman who is willing to pay such an amount.
But what do you get? Well, a 6.73 inch OLED smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 chipset. The battery is 4,600mAh in size and can charge 120W fast. The smartphone also has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. But that price is. 1,099 euros is really hefty. Optionally, you can also get 12GB of RAM if you want.
You also have the cheaper Xiaomi 12X and the 12. The X is available from 699 euros and the 12 costs 899 euros. The smartphones will be available in the Netherlands from April 1.
