Apple slows down foldable, will fold other devices
In addition to the foldable smartphone that Apple is planning, another foldable device may take precedence.
While the world is under the spell of the foldable smartphone, Apple is still fairly quiet about this technology. Under the guise of “better late than never”, there will be a foldable phone or ‘foldable’ from Apple.

Apple’s foldable smartphone is expected to arrive in 2024. First news of the day: that will be postponed again. Now back to 2025, and so it gets later and later. Maybe better late than never, but oh well. It seems that Apple is going to do something with foldable products. What would you like to fold?
Folding Macbook
Because Apple is going to think bigger. Their first foldable device is going to be a kind of Macbook. It becomes a kind of oversized tablet with a fold in the middle, making it more reminiscent of a laptop. The idea would be to be able to use it as a sort of laptop, or a large monitor. Aiming at a screen with a total diagonal of 20 inches or more. It would be a fairly unique product in a new segment. We could also see these in 2025, but do not consider 2026 or 2027 impossible either.
Perhaps the foldable smartphone will come a little later and together with a pretty interesting product. Further details are not yet known. (via DSCC)
