OnePlus Nord CE 2 announced: 65 W fast charge and 90 Hz display
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 is now official, this is the manufacturer’s new mid-range smartphone. As a reminder, the first Nord CE was launched in 2021.
Introducing the OnePlus Nord CE 2
As rumors had suggested, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 is based on OPPO’s Reno 7 SE 5G. While the two phones are pretty similar on the outside, there are a few key differences on the inside.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 has a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Under the hood, the phone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip. , associated with 8 GB of RAM (LPDDR4X) and 128 GB of storage (UFS 2.2). The battery is 4,500 mAh and there is support for fast charging at 65 W. According to OnePlus, the passage from 1% to 100% is done in 32 minutes.
For the photo part, the smartphone offers three modules on the back: a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For the front, we have the right to a 16 megapixel sensor.
For the rest, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 offers a fingerprint sensor under the screen, a USB-C port (2.0), a jack, a speaker, 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and two SIM cards. The device runs Android 11 with the OxygenOS 11 overlay.
Price and release date
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 will be marketed from March 10 on the manufacturer’s website and at several retailers (Amazon, Fnac and Darty). Pre-orders will open on March 3 with a price of 369 euros.
