Pokémon Legends Arceus: Get all starter Pokémon

Choosing the right starter is one of the most important decisions in any Pokémon game. This also applies to Pokémon Legends: Arceus. We’ll tell you whether Bauz, Fierygel or Ottaro is the right partner for you.

Instead of presenting completely new starter Pokémon, three old acquaintances return in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Thanks to the new Hisui forms, however, long-established veterans can also look forward to innovations.

Obtain all starter Pokémon

If you want to complete the Pokédex, you don’t have to laboriously acquire the two unselected starters by trading. Depending on whether you are missing Bauz, Fiery Gel or Ottaro, you will receive the other two Pokémon after completing the main story.

Just talk to Professor Laven. From him you get the missing starters at level 5. With a bit of luck you can use the starters also encounter in a space-time distortion. There they have a much higher level. Note, however, that this is also only possible after completing the main story.

Which starter Pokémon to choose?

There is no objectively correct answer to this question. All three Pokémon are up to the demands of the first few hours of play and you’ll soon be able to capture new companions to take on greater challenges. So just trust your gut feeling choose your personal favourite.

Plant Starter: Bauz
