Nokia finally starts rolling out December update for Nokia X20
The great update policy that was presented with the announcement of the Nokia X20 is in reality a bit less rosy. Only now is the December security update ready for the smartphone that was announced by Nokia last year.
Nokia X20: December Update
Android OS updates for three years and monthly security updates for three years; that is a key feature of devices in Nokia’s X-series. However, our mailbox is having a hard time with all messages from Nokia X20 owners. It seems that Nokia is not quite in control of the situation as far as the rollout of updates is concerned. Smartphones, for example, are updated much later. We now also see that with the Nokia X20.
Now it’s time for a ‘new’ update for the Nokia X20. New is deliberately placed in quotes, because the smartphone is being updated with the December security update, while the January security update has been out for weeks. Marcel reports on the update, which is now available for the Nokia X20. You will receive a notification on your smartphone if it is available for your device.
