According to a well-known good, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro get a solid battery life, better water resistance and much more.

As everything goes about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro has already been leaked and now the battery life is also on the street. The upcoming in-ear earphones from Samsung are a stiff competitor for the other big boys. In fact, if the sound quality can match, for example, the AirPods Pro, Samsung has gold in its hands.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro battery life

Well-known tasty Ishan Agarwal tells 91Mobiles that the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro will have a battery life of 28 hours. That is practically the same as with, for example, the Galaxy Live earphones (29 hours). Samsung does beat Apple’s AirPods Pro by a long shot. The latter does it with a maximum of 24 hours of listening time.

As if that were not enough, another medium writes that we can listen to 8 hours of music on one charge. That is almost double the AirPods Pro, which have to do with 4.5 hours.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro reportedly also get improved water resistance. Previously, Buds users had to make do with an IPX2 rating. According to the rating, that is just enough to take a small shower or light sweat session. IPX7 will mean a good half hour under a meter of water. In other words, even heavy rain or a quick dip in the pool should not do much with the ears.

Finally, Agarwal leaks everything about the active noise canceling, spatial audio and the drivers of the speakers. The latter can give an indication of the sound quality, but it is not necessarily necessary. So it remains to be seen whether the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro only wins from the AirPods Pro on battery life, or also in terms of sound.

We no longer have to wait long, because everything indicates that Samsung will announce the new in-ear headphones in mid-January (together with the Galaxy S21 series).
