Vivo V23 arrives (not only) with an original design innovation

Vivo does not intend to rest for a long time after the New Year’s Eve celebrations and will present a brand new generation of smartphones in the form of Vivo V23 and Vivo V23 Pro in the very beginning of 2022. He is a representative of a series focusing on stylish design and above-standard photographic equipment, at least in the field of leading selfie cameras. In the case of the Vivo V23 and V23 Pro smartphones, however, we can also look forward to one interesting thing that no one has come up with yet.

Vivo V23 and V23 Pro with color-changing backs

This design attraction is the back that changes its color. And no, now it’s not about changing the colors of the reflections at different angles. The glass on the back of these phones really changes color based on the amount of incident UV radiation. While in the “basic” state, the backs of both smartphones are golden, after exposure to the sun, their color changes to turquoise. In addition, however, the phones will also be available in classic color variants. Both models should have metal frame with real glass on the back. This is a pleasant change in the flood of mid-range plastic phones that both models should belong to. In the case of the Vivo V23 5G model, we should see sharply cut edges and straight backs. The Vivo V23 Pro should then come with a rounded back and a curved display on the front. With only 7.36 mm at the waist, the Vivo V23 Pro should also be very thin.

As for the hardware equipment, we have not confirmed it yet, however, the deployment of chipsets from MediaTeku namely Dimensionality 810 a Dimensity 1200. The predecessor of these smartphones relied on the Dimensity 700, and as you can read in the Vivo V21 5G review, we didn’t have the slightest problem with its performance. Furthermore, both of the mentioned novelties are expected to be used AMOLED displays.

Again, the selfie camera will play a big role and in the case of a pair of more expensive models it should offer 50MPx sensors supplemented by two LEDs. However, we do not yet have information on the optical stabilization offered by, for example, the Vivo V21 5G. In addition, the Vivo V23 Pro adds an 8MPx ultra-wide camera, but at the cost of a not-so-elegant cutout in the display. We can look forward to the deployment of primary cameras 108 and 64 MPx sensors. The complete official presentation of the news should then take place on January 4, 2022.
