(Survival) tips
All right, that piggy has been washed. You still have to make sure that your child actually sits properly at the table. Idea: hand out presents between courses. You really don’t have to buy half the toy store for empty (small and especially many presents are extra fun) – it’s about the idea. Prefer no gifts? For example, choose a tablecloth that you can color in or make your own Christmas bingo. Cozy Christmas music in the background, you’re done.
But not before you put your child on something comfortable. Because no matter how nice that dress full of sequins is, with a plucky toddler all those glitters are scattered throughout the house at the end of the evening.
