[Vidéo] Tuto Express: remove all ads on Android!
Do you find that ads on Android apps are becoming more and more invasive? U.S. too ! Between the panels that appear for tens of seconds, the tiny deletion crosses created for you to press systematically next to them and the ads that you cannot pass, it quickly becomes hell.
On a PC, all you have to do is put an ad blocker in your browser, but on mobile, ads are also very present on apps where they also consume gigabytes of data on your 4G / 5G plan. The solution ? Block them at source with the app AdAway.
The mobile version of Google Translate
As we can imagine, it is not present on the Google Play Store (no ads = no money = Google not happy): it will therefore have to be installed from an alternative application store like F- Droid. It is possible to only install AdAway as an APK file, but this way you will have updates and we will see that with this solution, it is almost essential. Indeed, AdAway works with a list of ad servers that are blocked either by intervention on the hosts file (if you have a rooted device) or by setting up an integrated VPN which will block these same servers.
Once set up, it’s radical. You will no longer have ads displayedt on your Android device!
