Warning! This charger can kill you
The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (CTIA) has ordered a ban on the sale of a dangerous C-tech charger, originating in China. It is also available under the name C-tech UC-02 in Slovakia. You can easily distinguish it from other adapters by finding two USB-A ports at the top. The device can charge 10.5 W.

Using the C-tech UC-02 charger can kill you
During the inspection, the CTIA found that due to insufficient insulation between the primary and secondary part of the product, the user could be injured by an electrical voltage of 230 V, specifically when he touches the USB connector. In some cases, exposure to such tensions can lead to death. Problems with the labeling of the product were also identified, and it lacked the trade names and addresses of the manufacturer and importer.
The Slovak Trade Inspection Authority has not yet commented on the problem. At present, the product is freely available at several Slovak retailers.
