Microsoft Surface Duo 2 in endurance test. How did it turn out?

At the end of September this year, Microsoft introduced the Surface Duo 2 phone. Now he looked at Zack’s tooth from the JerryRigEverything channel and did a classic endurance test.

Needless to say, the phone has two displays that are separated by a hinge. Both are protected by a Gorilla Glass Victus, which (as on most other phones) is scratched at level 6, and we look for deeper scratches at level 7 on the Mohs hardness scale. The sides of the phone, including the fingerprint reader, are made of plastic, which makes the phone lighter. However, it can be scratched more easily.

Zack’s test follows, where he attaches a lighter to the display and lets it burn for several tens of seconds in the immediate vicinity, which the phone surprisingly handled quite well. The bending test was also a matter of course, but the phone (quite logically) did not do very well thanks to the more prone hinge.

Would you buy a similar phone?
