Do you have Windows 11? Google Chrome will be nicer now
A few days ago, Google released the new Chrome version 96, which adds, among other things, a new look that is better suited to Windows 11. The new version should now be available to all users, so if you have a new system, there’s nothing to wait for.
Google Chrome has customized the look of Windows 11
Chrome 96 mainly modifies the corners of the application, which are now rounded and correspond more closely to the current design of the operating system from Microsoft. Unfortunately, after you download the new Chrome, the changes will not take effect and you will need to enable them manually. By default, you must type chrome: // flags in the address bar and then enter the text # win11-style-menus, in which you select “all versions of Windows”, then just restart the browser and you will see the changes.
It is not yet clear why Google has not enabled this feature for all users. In the latest version of Chrome 98, which now runs on Canary, this option is turned on by default.
Do you welcome this change?
