“This is the striking design of the Xiaomi 12”
The Chinese Xiaomi came about two weeks ago with the Xiaomi Civi. A smartphone that mainly focuses on design. However, the announcement was made that this device would not appear in the Netherlands and Belgium and we could therefore not enjoy this design. Now it turns out that we can see the design in person, this time in the Xiaomi 12.
Ceramic housing
The upcoming flagship of Xiaomi is rumored to be presented in mid-December and should closely resemble the Xiaomi Civi in design. The latter is only 7mm thick, has a ‘soft-touch’ glass back, curved screen edges and is available in striking colours. So the Xiaomi 12 would probably take over these elements. On the other hand, the device is rumored to have a ceramic housing instead of glass. Ceramics are best known for their scratch resistance.
Fewer megapixels
The primary camera of the Xiaomi 12 will probably not be the 200 megapixel camera that was talked about earlier, but it will be a 50 megapixel one. The device would also have a screen with a variable refresh rate and will work with a 120 watt fast charger. This should ensure that the 5000mAh battery is fully charged in about 20 minutes. Furthermore, previous rumors had already mentioned that the Xiaomi 12 would be the first device with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 processor, the new upcoming high-end processor of the brand.
