Nevertheless, the players came up with a way to use the one-time point as a standard saved position of their kind, claiming that they would finally be able to finish Returnal.

One of the vocal supporters of the idea of ​​arbitrary storage in Returnal is journalist Joseph Yarden, who writes for Games Radar, IGN and VGC, for example. He also advised other players how to circumvent the basic restrictions on the use of a clue in Returnal and proceed a little differently than before the incriminated update. The instructions are short and relatively straightforward – the moment you interrupt the game and instruct it to create a clue, just upload it to the cloud storage and download the saved position from it to the console at any time and use it in the game.
