Asus starts rolling out Android 12 in December

Asus will start rolling out the update to Android 12 this year. From December, the first smartphones of the brand will be updated with the latest Android version.

Last week there was the official release of Android 12. The first smartphones were offered the update to the latest Android version. If you own an Asus smartphone, we have news for you. The first devices will be updated with Android 12 from December.

First up are the Zenfone 8 and the Zenfone 8 Flip; this update to Android 12 will roll out from December 2021. The Zenfone 7 will follow next year, with the rollout planned for the first half of 2022. Those with a ROG (gaming) Phone can also count on the update to Android 12 from next year. For the ROG Phone 5 and 5s, the update will be available from Q1 2022. For the ROG Phone 3, a broader period is taken; talking about a rollout from the first half of 2022.

Along with Android 12, the Asus smartphones are updated with the new version of ZenUI. Asus promises easier navigation, streamlined control panels, better control and more customization options.
