Spicy Shadows of the Damned can return -apkrig

Shadows of the Damned is one of my favorite lesser known games. The title from the Japanese studio Grasshopper Manufacture and Electronic Arts (yes, EA experimented before EA Originals, see Alice: Madness Returns or Brütal Legend) from 2011 for PS3 and X360 boasted a comb of personalities in the development team. It was created by Resident Evilu Shinji Mikami, author of No More Heroes Goichi Suda alias Suda51 and the soundtrack was composed by court composer Silent Hill Akira Jamaoka. What more could you want?

The game collected very nice marks, it was original and properly bizarre, but it did not become a big hit. Nevertheless, they are among the most significant pieces from the portfolio of the team that gave the world games such as killer7, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, Lollipop Chainsaw, Killer Is Dead or Let It Die. And now it finally looks like we could meet her again.

In an interview with Destructoid magazine, Goichi Suda stated that Grasshopper Manufacture has the rights to Shadows of the Damned, although the game was released by EA. And he indicated that he could return to this brand. At the very least, there could be ports or remasters for new systems, as Grasshopper Manufacture is clearly not preventing this.

The last game the team released in August this year was No More Heroes III exclusively for Switch. However, the next part is not planned at the moment and the developers are already working on new projects. In this context, it is worth recalling that the studio has previously re-released several older games on new platforms. In addition to the previous episodes of No More Heroes, the Silver Case from 1999 and The 25th Ward: The Silver Case from 2005 are worth mentioning.
