Google Assistant will soon tell you that day’s UV radiation

When you go out into the sun, you should always make sure you apply a good sunscreen. To help you with that, you can now ask the Google Assistant how the UV radiation is at any given time.

UV index

This feature was already added to the Wear OS weather app in April, but now it is becoming widely available. You request the UV index by saying, “Hey Google, what’s the UV index?” Then you get to see what the UV radiation will be like for the next ten hours. You get to see it in blocks of two hours. The Google Assistant will soon be equipped with this feature on Android, Nest and iOS. When exactly is unknown. There are other weather apps that already offer this feature.
