Android 12 is officially here, no smartphone has received the update yet
After several months of waiting, Google has officially released Android 12. However, this is not the release you expect. The GSMArena portal informs that so far it is only an update for the Android Open Source project and not for specific smartphones.
Compared to last year’s release, the release date of the update on Android 12 for the first smartphones is delayed. They are the first to receive a new version of the Pixel operating system directly from Google, and according to the company, this will not happen until the coming weeks. Smartphones from other manufacturers that have been involved in beta testing (Samsung, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Tecno, Vivo and Xiaomi) will receive an update to the stable version later. Google promises that it will be later this year.

What changes will Android 12 bring?
The biggest novelty of the new version of the system is the new design language Material You. In this release of Android, Google not only changed the look of all elements, from system applications to widgets, but also gave users the ability to better customize the system. It will be possible to change individual colors in the settings, which will then be reflected across the entire system, whether in quick settings, widgets, system applications, but also in supported third-party applications.
Less obvious changes that will improve the user experience, however, include optimizing performance and improving alerts. Google is also continuing its efforts to give users better control over their privacy. For example, Android 12 will give apps access to only an approximate location, or the system will alert you when an app uses a microphone or camera.
