The twelve-year-old programmer Benyamin Ahmed, who earned US $ 400,000 with Wal-NFT in August, has landed the next coup together with the Boring Bananas developers.
With his NFT collection Weird Whales, twelve-year-old Brit Benyamin Ahmed had earned around $ 400,000 in just a few weeks by the end of August. The son of a web developer, who claims to have started programming at the age of five, has been working on the subject of non-fungible tokens (NFT) since the beginning of this year. Now, for the second time, Benyamin Ahmed can look forward to a financially successful NFT collection.
This time, however, the twelve-year-old was not solely responsible for it, but had worked with the developers from Boring Bananas Co. The result is an NFT collection of a total of 8,888 comic-style characters. The collection was released on September 18th and sold out in just twelve minutes. Until now, within the last few weeks, the Non-fungible heroes said collection brought in over five million dollars, according to the crypto data platform.
Sales of NFT collections increase over time because the original creators receive a few percent of the sales price for each resale on platforms such as Opensea. The twelve-year-old Briton has a share of a few percent in the overall project. How much his share is and how much money he has earned with it, Benyamin Ahmed wanted opposite CNBC Do not tell.
As a developer in the Non-fungible Heroes team, the twelve-year-old has concentrated on technical support. He was also involved in the development of the web app and the smart contract. Here his father Imran gave him a helping hand, said Benyamin. Thanks to his success with the Weird Whales, he was also able to share his own experiences about what works and what doesn’t in the NFT area. Designers who previously worked for Disney, Marvel or Nickelodeon are working on the Non-fungible Heroes project.
