MIUI Pure Mode disables two features for the benefit of users
It has been more than eleven years since Xiaomi released its first work. It was not a phone, but an Android extension of MIUI. Ever since this variant of the system celebrated its tenth birthday, it seems as if it is company devoted more and more. After the popular and quite reworked version 12, the 12.5 variant also came, and now another modification of the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition is now available. Let us also not forget the recent creation of the Pioneer Group, which is to take care of user comments. Now we can include i in the list of terms MIUI Pure Mode.
This “pure mode” is a novelty that the company is starting to test in China. It aims to increase the protection of users who may run into attackers when installing third-party applications on their mobile phones. The special mode in the phone automatically turns on the environment in which it is not possible to manually install a side-by-side download and it doesn’t work nor installation in the background. Xiaomi accompanied the introduction of this regime by stating that up to 40% of such installed applications do not meet safety standards when inspected, and a tenth of tools are even downright dangerous.
MIUI Pure Mode does not disable these installations completely, they will be turned on manually. In this case, however, the more experienced user should already be aware of exactly what he is doing. That’s why it seems like a very good idea. So far, there is no information on whether and when this mode will be viewed beyond China. There are now being tested in several user groups.
How often do you manually install applications from a file?
