Samsung Galaxy A50, A32, A8 and Z Flip get new August update
Samsung has opened the update floodgates for a number of devices. This is the case for the Galaxy A50, A32, A8 and Z Flip. The updates will now be rolled out in the Netherlands.
Updates for Samsungs
Several Samsung devices are now updated with a new update. We start with the Samsung Galaxy A50. Ricardo and Gerard inform DroidApp that their smartphone has received the August 2021 security update; an update of 149.72MB. As far as is known, no further new features or changes will be made with the patch.
A similar update is also ready for other smartphones from the South Korean manufacturer. This applies to the Samsung Galaxy A32 and the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018). These will therefore all receive the August security update. New functionality is not added for any of the devices. In addition to the patches from Google, Samsung has also addressed its own vulnerabilities.
A new update is also available for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. Functions that we know from the Z Flip 3 come to the Z Flip. According to Sjoerd, it concerns the update to One UI 3.1.1. Multitasking should be improved, among other things. Even the September patch is included. Interesting, because Google will only reveal details about this next week.
