Naughty Dog is working on a separate multiplayer action -apkrig
For many months now, there have been indications that a multiplayer game is being developed in the Naughty Dog studio. Developers have repeatedly posted ads for new employees to work in the multiplayer game, or that they should have experience with the industry if they want to get their hands on the job. Officially, however, we have never heard from the studio representatives what exactly it is, although everything points to the gradual fulfillment of the promise that The Last of Us Part II will receive its multiplayer. Question marks also hung over how this component would be handled, and now speculation about a separate title – not an expansion of the base version – seems to have been true. They were confirmed by one of Neil Druckmann’s close collaborators, designer Vinit Agarwal, and invites anyone interested in working at Naughty Dog to look at the vacancies.
We’re aggressively hiring – apply if you want to be part of bringing the cinematic experience between players in our new standalone multiplayer action game. https://t.co/SHtU4AKyI7

“We’re actively looking for new employees – apply for a vacancy if you want to help players deliver a cinematic experience in our standalone multiplayer action game,” Agarwal wrote on Twitter as he shared the studio’s contribution to recruiting new people. As a month ago, Naughty Dog wants to fill several positions in the field of design, programming, script and testing. The position of monetization or economic designer has also appeared in the offer several times already, which clearly indicates that the future title will be secondarily monetized, although at the moment we do not know any details at this time. Almost all other positions are related to the mentioned multiplayer, which brings us back to what Agarwal said. We also know that there will be weapons in the game, probably a tree of abilities, resp. tasks that players will perform in multiplayer.
In July, however, recruitment was even more vigorous – Naughty Dog wanted to fill over forty new positions, some of which were to be heads within individual departments. However, in addition to trying to increase the team and work intensively on the game, this could also mean that the development of multiplayer may not be at a very advanced stage, and that we could wait for it much longer than originally thought. Of course, it’s not unnoticed that Neil Druckmann talked about it in the clues before the release of The Last of Us Part II, and players believe that the end product will be the evolution of Factions – the multiplayer of the first part. But you have to wait for this confirmation, as well as for any demonstration or details on how the multiplayer game will be connected to the well-known story. The fact that Agarwal lured in cinematic tuned experience, however, could mean at least some story and possibly an extension of existing storylines.
