update 1.3 allows you to completely reconfigure your character

Cyberpunk 2077 will soon be entitled to a new update that will improve some aspects of the game criticized by players. In addition, no more spending a fortune to reset all of your character’s skills. This option will now be much more affordable. The mini-map has also been given a slight rework.

For several months now CD Projekt tries to save the furniture after the disastrous release of Cyberpunk 2077. Numerous updates have been deployed, some more important than others, and the studio no longer hesitates to describe the state of its game as “satisfactory”. However, some bugs persist and the PS4 and Xbox One versions are far from meeting the quality criteria that one could hope for, as Sony has reminded several times.

Despite this, any improvement is welcome. In this case, the next update is likely to appeal to some players. Among the novelties, there is indeed a slight change in the resetting of skills. Formerly extremely expensive, it will be so much cheaper to strip your character to give it new specialties. In a video, CD Projekt gives us an idea of the cost of the operation.

Cyberpunk 2077’s 1.3 bet brings new replayability possibilities

Nevertheless, it does seem not possible to reconfigure attributes, the categories that house the different skills. In other words, if you want to completely review the specifics of your character, there will be no other choice but to start a game over. Still, this small change opens up new replayability options, allowing to rediscover the game from a new gameplay angle.

This is not the only new feature of this update 1.3. The mini-map has also been modified. It appears indeed slightly zoomed out, which gives a better overview of the surroundings. This will prove particularly useful during the driving phases, where the GPS can be somewhat frustrating by giving information only at the last moment.

CD Projekt has not specified a deployment date for its next patch, but it should probably be available in the next few days. Then, later in the year, gamers will finally be able to get their hands on the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game.
