Sony PS5 incl. Tariff at MediaMarkt and Saturn: Are the offers worthwhile?
We did the math for you: The Sony PlayStation 5 Disc Edition itself currently costs at least 499 euros (If it’s available, check the current PS5 availability here). Another DualSense controller approx. 65 euros. If you now calculate the value of the hardware out of the total costs, you effectively pay the following prices for the tariffs:
Since this offer is a tariff in the Vodafone network, we have used the regular prices of the Red tariffs for comparison. For a tariff with 10 GB you currently pay around 30.39 euros per month with a voucher at Vodafone. Regularly even 39.99 euros are due. For a tariff with 20 GB even 37.99 euros or 49.99 euros.
In short: the tariff offers from MediaMarkt and Saturn are over a lot cheaper than their counterparts at Vodafone directly. At the same time you have the chance there to get one of the coveted PlayStation 5 consoles to secure. It would be a lie if we were to claim that you don’t always have the chance to pick up a cheaper tariff, but those who no longer want to wait for the NextGen console and have already considered increasing their data volume will definitely make use of these offers no loss.
But don’t forget cancel in good time, i.e. at least 3 months before the end of the contract. If you do not do this, the contract is automatically extended for another year and the basic fee increases from the 25th month, although you have already paid off the console.
